The 2 megapixel Signal HDV-60 IP camera uses a 1/2.8" SONY CMOS image sensor with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels (3 MP) and provides video at a frame rate up to 25 fps. H.264 video compression minimizes bandwidth requirements, for less demanding applications users can utilize second stream with reduced parameters. The built-in 2.8-12 mm varifocal lens has viewing angle adjustable within 90° - 26° range. It has an IR illuminator with range up to 30 meters. The camera is intended for indoor applications and is conventionally powered from a 12 VDC source.
The configuration and operation control of the camera is done via Internet Explorer or with the included free CMS software. IPCSearcher application is used for searching Signal cameras in the IP network, firmware updating, and changing parameters of the cameras and Signal NVRs. The application is particularly useful during the initial configuration of any video monitoring system with multiple cameras. The FREEIP application, which can be downloaded from GooglePlay, allows for remote monitoring of the surveillance video on mobile devices. This cloud app provides an easy and quick way to add the devices without a need for port forwarding.
