The connector has two full (360 o ) rings, which, as a result of the connector compression process (longitudinal, axial compression), bulge inwards. The dimensions of these rings are selected so that after compression, the connectors clamp onto the cable sheath with a force large enough to prevent the connector from breaking off the wire and small enough to not damage the cable structure.

The central wire of the coaxial cable is centered when inserted into the connector and enters a properly prepared blind hole. A special element ensures electrical contact between the wire and the connector in order to prevent the generation of interference when moving the cable.

The process of crimping the connector onto the wire is very simple and quick:

• prepare the wire by exposing the central core to a length of 8 /- 1.4 mm and the dielectric with braiding to a length of 6.4 mm

• crimp with a crimper
